The MemSec Kitchen Monitor system runs on a separate touch screen in your kitchen.
It links to the tills throughout your venue that are used as food order points and displays all currently outstanding food orders. No more deciphering handwriting or missing orders that fall off and slide under the fridge! An audible warning sounds with each new order, which is also printed out in the kitchen if required.
Kitchen staff can see the order number, table number, when it was placed and the time remaining until the next course is due as well as all relevant cooking instructions. Orders can be queued according to the time remaining until the main course is ready, meaning that diners who don’t have time for a starter can be served more quickly.
Where more than one screen is used, different courses can be assigned to different screens. The pass can even have its own screen where orders can be cleared. The system also feeds back to MemSec7 to alert waiting staff, for example about tables that have had starters but no mains away!
