The Stock Period Sales Report lists all sales of sale items related to products in the selected stock family in the period. Please use the descriptions below and the sample report above to understand this report.
The columns in this report are as follows:
- Sale Item – this column is broken down into separate categories, then lists the sale item names in each category alphabetically, including the size where there is more than one.
- Qty Sold – this figure represents the number of each sale item sold in the period.
- Total Sales – this represents the overall revenue received for the sale item in the period.
- Avg Price – this column calculates the average price achieved in the period based on the previous two columns – revenue ÷ quantity sold.
- Default Price – this shows the standard sale price of the sale item as at the point of the closing stock take, and provides an indication of the amount of discount offered on the item in the period when compared to the previous column.
- Gross Margin – this is a percentage figure indicating the gross profit percentage achieved in the period for this sale item, based on the total sales and actual costs in the period.
- Sales Mix – within each category, each sale item’s sales mix percentage represents the volume of sales for that item as a percentage of the category total. Each category has its own sales mix figure in its Total row, which shows the percentage of overall sales in the stock family represented by that category.
