Pay at counter
With the simple pay at counter configuration MemSec7 and psConnect from PaymentSense make credit card payments simpler, quicker and more accurate. Serving times are reduced and mistakes eliminated by the amount automatically being transferred to the card machine.
Each PDQ has its own connection to the internet so processing a transaction is extremely quick, especially if your customer uses contactless technology. The result of the transaction is fed back to the MemSec7 till and as long as it’s been accepted your sale is completed automatically. No more keying errors, no more passing the PDQ back and forth, no more long delays.
Pay at table
The pay at table configuration of psConnect really brings home the advantages of integrating with MemSec7. Firstly it’s possible to print the customer’s bill direct from the PDQ. No more heading back to the bar and waiting for the till to be free.
Your customer has their bill straight away and so is ready to pay more quickly. Again without needing to return to the till you can split the payment between two or more customers if required. As soon as the bill is settled, the tab will disappear from the till without any further need to log on and process the payment. Just pop the merchant slip(s) into the cash drawer next time you’re there!
Everything has been thought of in putting together what will undoubtedly be a huge time and money saver for any restaurant, pub, bar or hotel with table service. As soon as a bill is triggered from the PDQ the tab is locked, so preventing stray or late orders being added but not paid for.
Dojo
Dojo is PaymentSense’s one-stop solution for card payments. PaymentSense themselves provide the acquirer service as well as the interface, meaning that payments are even faster, customers receive their money the next day and there’s no longer a choice between pay at counter and pay at table – the same terminal can be used in both ways without changing any settings or having to download different configurations.
The terminals are Android driven and employ point-to-point encryption for maximum security.
